Extraction for Coffee Roasters

Learn the fundamentals of coffee extraction and why extraction and roasting are inextricably linked. Understand the role that quality assurance plays in designing roast profiles and brewing recipes. Explore ways to influence extraction with roast profile techniques.
Participants will spend this four hour course brewing coffee to proper specification, cupping coffee according to industry standard, examining roast profiles, and using a refractometer.
